Mark Faubion

Mark Faubion is currently an Assistant Football Coach at William Jewell College, serving as the Defensive Coordinator and Linebacker coach.

He completed his collegiate football career at William Jewell after transferring from the University of Missouri. A standout defensive back, Faubion earned three All-Conference honors with the Cardinals and was also a member of the track team.

Following his playing days, he joined the coaching staff at Jewell, working with the secondary and special teams before being promoted to Co-Defensive Coordinator in 2003.

Faubion has spent the last 20-plus years as a respected high school coach in the Kansas City metro area, with coaching stops at Oak Park and Excelsior Springs. At Excelsior Springs, he posted a 43-38 record as head coach and mentored multiple All-State athletes, including Sam Webb, now with the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL. At Oak Park, he coached football, wrestling, and track and field.

Known for his deep knowledge of the game, leadership, and commitment to developing student-athletes, Faubion continues to make a lasting impact both on and off the field.
