
John Marzka brings more than 30 years of championship-level college football coaching, player development, and recruiting leadership to the All-Alaska Football Camp. As college Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, QB coach and nationally respected recruiter, John has helped build winning cultures at programs including United States Military Academy at West Point, Albright College, Thiel College, Fordham University, and Buffalo State University of New York.
Throughout his career, John has earned a reputation for developing quarterbacks, building high-character teams, and mentoring young athletes to success both on and off the field. His teams have captured multiple conference championships, earned national rankings, and made numerous NCAA postseason appearances. He has coached and developed well over 100 All-Conference players, dozens of All-Americans, and championship-level quarterbacks at every stop of his career.
Known for his passion for leadership development, John emphasizes confidence, discipline, accountability, and communication as foundational traits for success. His quarterback development philosophy focuses not only on mechanics and decision-making, but also on leadership, poise, and the ability to command a team under pressure.
As a student-athlete, John was a two-time All-American and team captain at Allegheny College, helping lead the program to a NCAA Division III National Championship. Additionally, he has received multiple “Coach of the Year” honors and has been inducted into both the Allegheny College and Thiel College Halls of Fame for his contributions to the game.
Coach Marzka has recently accepted the position of Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach at SUNY Buffalo and is excited to bring his experience, energy, and passion for developing young athletes to the All-Alaska Football Camp and looks forward to helping campers grow as people, athletes, teammates, and leaders.
